Disneyland All Out of Perspective

Disneyland is pretty impressive to look at. I mean there's the detailed buildings, the high rising mountains, and that whole Sleeping Beauty Castle that sits right in the middle of everything. I can't even begin to imagine how many imagineers it must have taken to dream up all of this stuff, and then the ridiculous amount of architects who would have been needed to design it. Getting every detail just right must have taken years and years of hard work.

Of course, it might have gone a little quicker if not every detail was quite right. In fact, as I was looking around the park, it came to my attention that some of the "sizing" issues might have been a little rushed. Let me give you some examples:

They made the chairs too big....

They made the beds too small (This must have been one of those "really small double beds" that people were complaining about)...

If you can't reach the doorknob, you can't open the door....

...and are we supposed to believe that a house my three kids can't fit side by side in is the home to the Bear in the Big Blue House?

Sometimes they got the sizing right, but you have to question their choice of construction materials...

We thought we'd go to the head office for Disney architects and see if we could get a straight answer as to where things went wrong...

I'm going to take that as an official "No Comment".

This post is a part of Wordless Wednesday over at Focused on the Magic. If you didn't get here from there, you should really head on over and check out some of the fantastic people that hang out there on Wednesdays. Some of them could probably reach that doorknob. There's definitely no way they're fitting in that bed though.
