It can get a touch hot in August.
It's days like this that almost make me want to stay indoors in a nice air conditioned room. Almost. I mean, it's Disney. I can't just let an entire day slip away without getting out and having a little fun, but when people are hot, tired, and cranky, that's no fun for anyone. So we do what we can to stay cool.
We spend time in the water parks...
...and we ride the air conditioned monorail a lot (preferably in the private cabin).
We make sure to wear our hats...
...plus we take plenty of breaks for ice cream.
Hydration is important...
...but sometimes it's just better to stay out of the sun completely. When that happens, all you can do is find something to hide under and enjoy the shade.
This post is a part of Wordless Wednesday over at Focused on the Magic. If you didn't get here from there, you should really head on over and check out some of the fantastic people that hang out there on Wednesdays. Most of them probably don't even blink when the temperature rolls into triple digits. That's OK. Let's see them come up here in the winter when it's well below zero. Then we'll see who's hiding out in the hotel room.
