Your Eyes Are Like Roses
My three kids all have very different reactions to the snow. The boy will check to see if anyone wants to take him skiing, and if not he heads inside to hibernate in his room. My youngest's idea of playing in the snow is to design a snow fort on her computer, then have a snowball fight on her Wii. My oldest daughter however, is outside every chance she gets. Even the tiniest bit of snow is cause to go outside and make a snow angel, sled down a hill, or build a snowman (I notice it's never "shovel the driveway"). Fortunately for her, there's never a shortage of snow living in Canada. It does make you wonder though...What kind of messed up weather do we get up here when there's enough snow to make a snowman, but there's still roses around to make eyes out of?
This post is a part of Photo Friday at Delicious Baby. If you didn't get here from there, you should really go check them out. There's people there who live places where the weatherman doesn't have to completely guess at his forecast.
