Speeding at the Hyatt Scottsdale
It's supposed to be -10° C here today and snowing all week, so wishing I was somewhere else is pretty much at the top of my "to-do" list. I've settled on reminiscing about our visit to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale and their amazing pool complex. We tried out almost all of the Hyatt hotels in Phoenix that summer, but the Hyatt Scottsdale was easily my kids favorite, mainly because of their great waterslide. On it's own the slide was pretty good, but the real fun is that the Hyatt will clock you on radar coming down the slide and tell you how fast you're going. Above you can see my youngest daughter's attempt, although she seems more concerned with hitting the water than speed...
My older daughter at least laid back to try and go a little faster...
The boy was going so fast I almost didn't get him in the picture...
Then there's the epitome of style and grace. You know that air of sophistication and poise that parents are supposed to have so that their children will respect them? Me neither....
I'd like to thank the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale for not making me manually refill the pool after my run, and it's probably important to point out that this picture was taken while we were still using the old camera. That thing was evil.
This post is a part of Photo Friday at Delicious Baby and Friday Daydreamin at R We There Yet Mom. If you didn't get here from one of those sites, you should really go check them out. There's people there who actually know something about poise and sophistication. I'm heading over there now to take some notes.
